This course is for individuals who want to earn their hunter education certificate in a traditional classroom setting that includes instructor-led lessons, hands-on activities and videos.
Students will engage in a series of in-person lessons that cover
hunting ethics and responsibility,
firearm safety
relevant Wyoming wildlife statutes and regulations,
wildlife identification, game care and
outdoor safety.
Upon successful completion of this course students will earn their hunter education certificate which is mandatory for any individual born on or after January 1, 1966 wanting to hunt with a firearm.
This certification option is recommended for:
ages 10 and up
individuals new to firearms
hands-on learners
Summer Classes
June class: June 22-23, 6-9 p.m. and June 24, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
July class: July 20-21, 6-9 p.m. and July 22, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
August class: August 17-18, 6-9 p.m. and August 19, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Led by Instructor Patrick J. Malson, classes meet at Boyd Avenue Baptist Church.
